Partner Network Development Manager

The opportunity: 

Flexport’s growth will be fueled primarily by growing a world-first global ecosystem of partners that will work with us to fuel demand and be responsible for high-quality execution.

As our ecosystem matures and Flexport’s global expansion accelerates, we will need to bring our partner value proposition to the next level and develop truly innovative business models to operate with them.  In this truly global role you will work closely with Flexport product and client teams to design the Partner Ecosystem value proposition and design, pilot and rollout the new business models to establish Flexport sales and operations globally 

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to shape our strategy and influence our growth roadmap and country prioritization, the tech we develop and the deals we sign with our partners.

You will: 

  • Design, pilot and rollout new and innovative business models that will create value for Flexport and our partners, allow for fast expansion  while enhancing our brand proposition to every customer segment
  • Work closely with partner relationship managers, client service teams, finance and key strategic partners to create a continuous feedback loop to land on most viable archetypes of partner relationships
  • Conduct market research and identify countries, industry verticals and customer segments to focus on across our
  • Actively participate in evolving the Flexport value proposition and provide feedback from partner discussions
  • Help establish a culture of try and error, launching pilots and gleaning best practices and learnings to be standardized as opposed to “designing in the lab”.

You should have: 

  • Deep experience in growing new regions, new business models and establishing new relationships with partners and affiliates.
  • Proven ability to define, quantify and resolve tradeoffs between profitability and cost and customer experience
  • Logistics/ e-commerce experience in a growing and expanding company
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working a very diverse set of internal stakeholders and partners
