What Do Freight $/Unit and $/Unit Mean?

Freight $/unit is the cost per unit of just moving the cargo from the origin port to the destination port.

$/unit is the total cost of the shipment per unit. $/unit includes the cost of moving the cargo from port to port, as well as origin charges, destination charges, and other charges applicable at the time of quoting.

LCL (less than container load) shipments are measured by CBM, so on the quote request you will see Freight $/CBM and $/CBM.

Air and FCL (full container load) shipments are measured by kilogram, so on the quote request you will see Freight $/KG and $/KG.
