Flexport App User Guide: The Network Tab

How to view and add contacts and locations to your Flexport network.

Flexport makes shipping your cargo transparent, reliable, and affordable

Information about your suppliers, warehouses, and manufacturers is stored in the Network tab.

If you click on My Network, you'll see an overview of your connections, locations, and contacts -- basically, the parties you're doing business with.

Locations and contacts also display under My Organization.

New companies and locations are added to the Network automatically when they’re involved in a Flexport shipment. You can also add companies and locations here, or download a CSV file to download your entire Network from the Flexport app.

Each company in your Network may be associated with more than one location.

To create a new company or location, click Create:

To add a new contact, see instructions here.

When finished, click Create.

If you would like to add several locations and/or companies, you can use the bulk-upload function (see instructions here).

Click here to go to your Network tab.

  • Quotes -- Request a quote for an upcoming shipment, or review a quote we've prepared for you
  • Products -- View information about the products you’ve shipped with Flexport
  • Network -- View or export information about your suppliers, warehouses, etc.
  • Billing -- Pay or review invoices
  • Reports -- See raw data and visual analytics to help evaluate your supply chain
  • Help -- Search or browse resources related to importing, shipping, and using the app
  • Settings -- Add users or adjust notification settings
