Supply Chain Operations Intern
The opportunity:
We are looking for one peak-season operator who will work within our team of supply chain operation associates to proactively manage exceptions, monitor metrics attainment and ultimately deliver smooth logistics operation for our customers.
You will:
- Assist with basic Air shipment-related tasks such as tracking and flagging data discrepancy while actively working with other team members for resolutions
- Perform data collection and data analysis to measure performance metrics
- Provide general administrative support to our team to help attain the expected efficiency, consistency and accuracy across the origin lifecycle of ocean shipments
You should have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Drive products (experience in SQL is a plus)
- Strong command of English and Mandarin (Cantonese is a plus)
- Strong team player
- Possess a curious attitude with a strong desire to learn
- Strong academic performance at tertiary level
- Availability: Jun to Aug 2022 (contract will be renewed subject to performance)
